The GasMinder Story -

 

Propane in the galley is a wonderful indulgence, but it’s one that flirts with disaster. In a boat, a leak of heavier-than-air propane will sink to accumulate in the lower areas of the vessel.  A tiny propane leak, for a long time, can become a big problem: one spark away from explosion. Compounding that invisible hazard, the safety solenoids we use on boats are not designed to be left on for many, many hours: they will burn out, all the while consuming lots of precious electricity.
